Your Primary Responsibilities Will IncludeLeadership and Team Development:
- Exemplify excellent communication skills and serve as a mentor to our entire team
- Oversee the recruiting, hiring, and performance review processes for support staff
- Coordinate regular team meetings and ongoing training initiatives
- Cultivate a positive and respectful work environment that encourages continuous improvement
- Empower team members to act with a sense of ownership and contribute to the practice's success
- Review and take ownership of the practice's financial health, including analyzing monthly statements and KPI reports
- Identify and recommend potential growth opportunities for existing and new service offerings
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and implement strategies to drive operational excellence
- Develop and maintain internal standard operating procedures to streamline operations
- Collaborate with the team to implement effective marketing strategies and community outreach initiatives
- Represent the practice at local events and generate awareness of our service offerings
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) and veterinary experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in overall operations, financial management, facilities management, and/or Human Resources
- Experience leading a large team of individuals in a hospital management role within the veterinary or human health industry
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
