About The RoleWe are seeking a well-qualified Hospital Administrator to join our progressive veterinary practice. Your Primary Responsibilities Will IncludeLeadership and Team Development:
Exemplify excellent communication skills and serve as a mentor to our entire team
Oversee the recruiting, hiring, and performance review processes for support staff
Coordinate regular team meetings and ongoing training initiatives
Cultivate a positive and respectful work environment that encourages continuous improvement
Empower team members to act with a sense of ownership and contribute to the practice's success
Financial Management And Strategic Planning
Review and take ownership of the practice's financial health, including analyzing monthly statements and KPI reports
Identify and recommend potential growth opportunities for existing and new service offerings
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and implement strategies to drive operational excellence
Operational Oversight And Community Outreach
Develop and maintain internal standard operating procedures to streamline operations
Collaborate with the team to implement effective marketing strategies and community outreach initiatives
Represent the practice at local events and generate awareness of our service offerings
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) and veterinary experience preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in overall operations, financial management, facilities management, and/or Human Resources
Experience leading a large team of individuals in a hospital management role within the veterinary or human health industry
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
