Overview Of PositionWe are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Auto CFO, VP of Finance. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to our Auto business segment, which boasts an annual revenue of approximately $4 billion. Reporting directly to the Deputy CFO, with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Auto BU President, you will lead a dedicated team of approximately 10 professionals. Responsibilities
Supporting BU President in Value Growth:
Utilize your deep financial knowledge of the Auto industry to identify opportunities for enhancing financial performance.
Collaborate closely with various departments, such as accounting, to conduct profitability analysis and guide decision-making processes.
Market Dynamics and Risk Management:
Proactively manage business risks by leveraging your expertise in both the insurance and auto industries.
Establish strategies to mitigate market risks and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Communication and Leadership:
Serve as the primary financial contact for Auto business leaders and act as the spokesperson for financial matters.
Prepare and present financial results, forecasts, and strategic plans to senior executives and key stakeholders.
Driving Financial Performance:
Take ownership of achieving annual financial objectives, making necessary adjustments to ensure alignment with business goals.
Support the BU President in implementing corrective actions as needed throughout the fiscal year.
Financial Analytics:
Analyze and communicate key financial performance indicators, identifying emerging issues, threats, and opportunities.
Drive accurate financial forecasting using leading indicators and scenario modeling techniques.
M&A Support:
Provide financial leadership during M&A transactions, including financial modeling and due diligence activities.
Ensure post-integration financial synergies and targets are met.
Expense and Profit Margin Management:
Analyze expenses and propose optimization strategies to enhance profit margins.
Return on Investment:
Evaluate investment decisions across various areas, including commercial development, operations, and M&A.
Track the performance of investments and provide recommendations to maximize returns.
Risk Assessment:
Collaborate with the Risk department to identify and quantify business risks, ensuring senior management's awareness.
Skills And Experience
Previous experience in a Business Unit CFO role is preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive business and finance experience.
