Role Overview: Vice President
As our Vice President, you will lead the operations of our diverse housing community portfolio. Your role encompasses overseeing all operational aspects, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration, and risk management. Operating as a remote leader, your focus will be on ensuring compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and fair housing regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Personnel Management
  • Develop and implement consistent recruitment, training, and development techniques for on-site staff.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and guidance in alignment with training benchmarks.
  • Promptly address performance issues, maintain proper documentation, and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
  • Foster harmony and high job performance through leadership and support.
Financial Management
  • Drive net operating income through effective cost control and revenue enhancement strategies.
  • Create yearly operating budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor income and expenses, providing monthly evaluations.
  • Recommend capital improvement strategies and oversee major project proposals and contracts.
Strategic Leasing Management
  • Develop annual marketing plans and execute marketing strategies.
  • Ensure effective leasing techniques and implement accurate reporting systems.
  • Address resident concerns and implement retention programs to increase resident satisfaction.
  • Conduct property tours and facilitate lease signings.
Administrative & Maintenance Management
  • Ensure timely and accurate administrative and leasing reporting.
  • Coordinate emergency response efforts and handle property emergencies within company guidelines.
  • Uphold customer service standards and monitor maintenance staff responsiveness.
  • Maintain property appearance and oversee timely repairs and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in property management or real estate operations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of fair housing regulations and property management best practices.
