Engage students through various means, including welcome videos, regular communication, and facilitating discussions.
Provide timely feedback on student submissions, promoting academic growth and understanding.
Host live lectures to enhance learning experiences, accommodating students' schedules.
Contribute to curriculum development and maintenance, ensuring relevance and rigor.
Address academic integrity concerns and grade-related challenges promptly and effectively.
Participate in ongoing development activities and mandatory training sessions.
QualificationsTo excel in this role, candidates should possess:
Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesProficiency in English language, academic processes, and basic computer operations.
Strong critical thinking, research, and interpersonal skills.
Effective time management and attention to detail.
Ability to comprehend and express ideas both in written and oral formats.
Capacity for selective attention and focus over extended periods.
Education And ExperienceFor Teaching Undergraduate and/or Certificate Courses:
Terminal degree or master's degree in the teaching discipline or related field.
Alternatively, a master's degree in any field with significant graduate credits in the teaching discipline.
Experience Teaching At The College/university Level Preferred.For Teaching Graduate Courses:
Terminal degree in the teaching discipline or related field.
Alternatively, a terminal degree in any field with substantial graduate credits in the teaching discipline.
Significant experience in the teaching discipline/field, preferably at the college/university level.
Equipment RequirementsInstructors are expected to have access to:
Computer, telephone, and printer with scanner capabilities.
Software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Blackboard, and internal database tools.
Reliable internet connection with sufficient speed/bandwidth.
Work EnvironmentThis role typically involves remote work, offering flexibility while ensuring high-quality educational experiences for our students.
