Get It Recruit - Educational Services is Hiring a Remote Academic Advisor -- Remote | WFH
Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a motivated Academic Advisor (Writing Track) to join our team full-time. While we're currently operating remotely, we anticipate a fully remote/hybrid working model moving forward.
As an Academic Advisor specializing in writing, you'll have the exciting opportunity to further develop your expertise while assisting students in honing their writing skills and achieving their academic goals.
ResponsibilitiesClient Consultation:
Evaluate clients' writing samples and provide detailed assessment reports.
Offer personalized academic guidance and planning tailored to individual needs.
Recommend suitable academic writing programs and activities.
Provide professional advice and support for academic and creative writing projects.
Academic Research And InstructionOrganize writing-based workshops and personalized lessons.
Conduct academic research and develop relevant teaching materials.
Provide contest coaching services and personalized advising.
Collaborative Product DevelopmentAssist in researching target markets and client needs.
Maintain and optimize product content and procedures.
Collect and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.
Subject Team BuildingParticipate in team meetings and assist in team training.
Basic QualificationsMinimum of a master's degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, or related fields.
Exceptional academic and creative writing skills.
Experience in editing, proofreading, and mentoring.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and social skills.
Passion for education and lifelong learning.
Preferred QualificationsPedagogical or editorial experience is a plus.
Experience in news media or online publication.
Marketing and communication experience.
