Job Description

As a Lead Full Stack Engineer at Gesture, you will play a critical leadership role in our engineering department, guiding both strategy and execution. Your expertise in full stack development, coupled with your deep understanding of GCP and React Native, will be instrumental in developing innovative solutions that meet our business needs and exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance software solutions leveraging GCP and React Native.

- Architect robust, maintainable systems that support the company's objectives and technological roadmap.

- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and relevant product development.

- Mentor and guide a team of full stack developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across various platforms.

- Ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into practices and processes where beneficial.

- Lead by example through coding, code reviews, and technical problem solving, ensuring high standards of quality and innovation.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development with a proven track record in leading development projects.

- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and experience with its various services (e.g., Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Firebase).

- Proficient in React Native for developing cross-platform mobile applications.

- Strong experience with both front-end and back-end technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.

- Solid understanding of database management and design (SQL and NoSQL).

- Demonstrated ability to architect scalable and efficient software solutions.

- Leadership skills with experience mentoring developers and leading development teams.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a collaborative team player.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications in GCP and other relevant technologies.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

- Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for multi-cloud strategies.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
