Job Title: Subject Matter Expert
The Role
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert with over 8 years of auditing expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of auditing principles and methodologies, particularly in manufacturing systems such as Lean/Six Sigma, quality/NDT systems, supplier systems, and management structures.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive audits of manufacturing systems, including Lean/Six Sigma practices, to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
2. Evaluate quality and NDT systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
3. Assess supplier systems and processes to optimize efficiency, reliability, and quality of materials and services.
4. Provide expertise in management structures and program execution, including Leader Standard Work and Management Operating Systems.
5. Develop audit plans, schedules, and methodologies tailored to specific client needs and objectives.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit findings and recommendations, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and guidance on best practices in auditing and process optimization.
8. Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and areas of concern for management review.
9. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in auditing and quality management.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on manufacturing systems, quality management, and supplier systems.
3. Proven expertise in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and principles.
4. Strong understanding of quality management systems, including NDT techniques and standards.
5. Experience working with diverse management structures and executing programs like Leader Standard Work and Management Operating Systems.
6. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
8. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75% of the time) to client sites.
9. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
