Gerber Construction is Hiring a Construction Supervisor (Sitework/Excavation) Near Ellington, CT
Due to growth, Gerber Construction is currently searching for a construction Supervisor to join our team.
Duties will include:
- Manage a team of Operators, Pipe layers, and Laborers, including work schedules, sitework project coordination for $5-20 million sitework projects
- Collaborate with our Subcontractors, Project Managers, and the Construction Management Team
- Attend/participate in weekly meetings with the CM team
- Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
- Create mini schedules for workers and subcontractors
- Maintain a daily log for the job site's operations, reporting to management as necessary
- Maintain onsite quality and safety measures
- Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines
- Excellent communication abilities, including writing and speaking
- Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, and prioritization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Construction Foreman: 3 years (Preferred)
