POSITION SUMMARY:

The Equipment Operator safely and efficiently operates Cherry Pickers and Reach Operators.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Operate a cherry picker or a reach-lift to place or remove large items on warehouse racks.
• Provides daily preventative maintenance checks of equipment as required.
• Escalates mechanical equipment issues to Lead Equipment Operator.
• Accurately verifies freight for quality and quantity.
• Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL/VISUAL ACTIVITIES OR DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, walk, lift, carry, reach, push, pull, and be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Attention to detail.
• Good communication
• Able to safely operate equipment in unique situations.
• Good Math skills

Education/Experience: High School Diploma and 1-year experience as an equipment operator.

1^ST, 2^ND SHIFT, AND WEEKEND SHIFT AVAILABLE.
