Overview:

Geppetto Osteria is seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes
- Operate the POS system to process orders and payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to food safety standards
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a Bartender in a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with patrons
- Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with retail math for inventory management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Certification in food handling is preferred

Pay: $20.71 - $24.94 per hour
