Duties And Responsibilities
- Follows written work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Actively participates in department process improvement and efficiency
- Assists in documenting any changes to run variables and setup information
- Records necessary information on the work orders and turns them in daily
- Acts as a champion for safety by demonstrating and ensuring that all safety rules are being followed
- Capable of auditing a process for accuracy
- Performs other duties, in any area of the plant, as directed
- A two-year degree, Bachelor’s degree, technical certificate or equivalent education required. Preferably in a technical or trade program, but any post-secondary education will be considered
- Highly motivated with a desire to learn and grow
- Ability to properly prioritize and pay close attention to details
- Able to read and write the English language
- Able to perform basic math functions and make technical measurements
- Able to work and lead with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and problem solving skills are essential
- The position is located on the production floor, standing for up to 8-12 hours a day
- Work with or around power tools, loud equipment, and chemicals
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
