Athletics Department
Georgia State University
The Athletics Department at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a College/Division HR Coordinator . This position provides guidance to all administrators, head coaches and area managers on all HR related matters.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Provide HR support to the Athletics Department at Georgia State University.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Assist department supervisors and managers with online job postings and recruitment, terminations, and new hires.
  • Oversee manager requests for re-classifications; salary adjustments/increases, etc.
  • Assist with internal department level onboarding of all new staff.
  • Represents Athletics on the Human Resource Advisory Committee (HRAC).
  • Provide oversight and monitor correct management of E-time by supervisors and non-exempt employees.
  • Verify information submitted by area managers (E-time, salary budgets).
  • Maintain confidential personnel files of active and inactive staff.
  • Provide oversight to area managers in the preparation of performance evaluations.
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance for Athletics in proper input for salaries, salary adjustments, moving expenses, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Previous HR experience with rules and regulations.
