Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in automation testing, extensive technical experience, and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively implement and manage testing processes, tools, and strategies to ensure the highest level of software quality and performance.

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using testing tools such as Postman and JMeter.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical testing solutions.
• Perform comprehensive testing of APIs, RESTful/JSON web services to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Analyze and report test results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Continuously enhance the automation framework to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on best practices in automation testing.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and incorporate them into the testing strategy.

• Minimum of 9 years of related technical experience in automation testing.
• Extensive knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, and network) and their application to business functions/processes.
• Proficiency with testing tools and database concepts.
• Advanced skills in using MS Office for documentation and reporting.
• Strong hands-on experience with Postman and JMeter.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience in testing APIs and RESTful/JSON web services.
• Prior experience in the financial services sector.

• Experience in merchant payment processing, including authorizations at point-of-sale or eCommerce/digital transactions, clearing & settlement systems, merchant on-boarding, merchant reporting, and fraud/security analytics.
• Experience with payment processing for financial institutions, specifically for debit cards, loans, and credit card systems.
• Knowledge of new accounts, plastics, letters, notifications, preferences, parameter controls, payments, sales, account updates, memos, rewards, fraud, statements, collections, authorizations, chargebacks/retrievals, merchants, and settlement processes.
• Familiarity with payment industry applications and standards.

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and/or certifications.
