- The Programmer/Analyst will
- Work as part of the IT team to create new programs/systems based on direction from Senior Business Analyst using IBM System I (AS/400, iSeries) tools such as ILE RPG IV, CLP, SQL, etc.
- Will support/modify existing applications.
- Troubleshoot issues within applications
- Communicate with internal users as well as external support groups
- Test code and fixes to ensure quality
- Documents code changes
- All other duties as assigned
- Intermediate skills programming in RPG IV, CLP and imbedded SQL on an iSeries.
- Experience with Change Management applications a plus
- EDI Experience a plus
- Experience with transfer protocols preferred
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities without losing composure
- Preference given to Infor System 21 experience
- Position may require some overtime and night/weekend work.
- Must have good organizational skills to track multiple programming requests assigned at one time.
- High School Diploma/GED required
- College Degree preferred.
- Must be able to pass background check (i.e. police backgrounds, reference checks…).
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Must have good interpersonal, communication, mathematical, organizational and time management skills.
