Looking for hard working individuals willing to learn. We will train you to build furniture in 6-12 months! Work is tough but rewarding. We work in a warehouse here in Macon and make wood and steel furniture from reclaimed wood and exotic hardwoods. We will train you to be a carpenter assistant and then to be a carpenter. Construction or carpentry background preferred.

Starting pay is 10/hr while we train you. Raises comes after you learn new skills and able to show you can do your job, it usually takes 3 months for your first raise and then raises every 6 months after that. Again, it is entirely based on how much you learn.

Schedule is Monday-Thursday 6 AM - 4 PM with 2 breaks and 1 hour for lunch. Friday is occasionally worked for overtime.

You get 40 hours of PTO each year and we also take 5 paid holidays off during the year.

```Duties```
- Operate various hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble products according to specifications
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

```Qualifications```
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing or background in carpentry environment preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
