Position Summary:

The Security Officer, Safety & Security shall be responsible for the implementation of security policies and procedures of the department under the direction of the Manager of Safety & Security. Duties include but are not limited to patrolling the parking deck, interior/exterior, and dock areas of the facility, securing all staff and guest entry/exit points, completing written incident reports and departmental documents, training of new team members, and responding to emergency and/or non-emergency situations.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete shift assignments as required in accordance with established policies/procedures.
2. Patrol of facility, locking/unlocking doors as needed, being aware of suspicious
3. Complete written incident reports and departmental
4. Perform crowd
5. Perform physical security, crime prevention and safety
6. Operating all security
7. Respond to Safety & Security related situations.
8. Investigate complaints or calls for
9. Provide safety
10. Serve as a point of information to the
11. Train new team members.
12. To perform other duties as workload

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma/GED
2. Superior customer service/ relations experience as well as an approachable demeanor
3. Previous 3 years experience in a security related field
4. Valid Georgia Driver's License
5. Ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks in a fast-paced, busy
6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills
7. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
8. Previous experience writing routine reports and
9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
