Georgetown University is Hiring a Summer Student Research Assistant Near Washington, DC

Requirements
Job Overview The student research assistant position will assist with biomedical signal processing and writing software for data acquisition and analysis to include:
Scripts for electroencephalography (EEG) signal processing in lab
Scripts for data acquisition of the force sensors, electromyography (EMG) signals, EEG signals
Scripts for data analysis of EEG, EMG, force sensor, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) data The temporary position is funded 100% through K-12 grant for 5 hours/week paid at $15/hour. Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation The student research assistant will report directly to Dr. Shashwati Geed, Assistant Professor, and Rehabilitation Medicine. This position will provide direct hands-on experience in neurorehabilitation research will also advance the student research assistant's educational experience as a computer scientist and analyst. This position has been designated as Hybrid 3 Days. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. Such review may necessitate a change to a position's mode of work designation. Requirements and Qualifications
This position requires proficiency in biomedical signal processing, writing software programs for data acquisition and analysis in the lab.
Advanced programming skills in MATLAB is required.
