This position is responsible for registering patients for either Outpatient procedures or Emergency Room visits. This position requires the ability to follow all policies and procedures, laws, and regulations.

Job Duties:

- Entering correct or updated patient information.

- Verifying insurance eligibility either online or over the phone.

- Answering phone calls and being able to transfer call to correct location

- Following HIPPA guidelines

The individual should have the following skills in to handle the job efficiently:

- Experience working in computer programs.

- Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Organization and multi-tasking skills.

- If in the Emergency Room, dealing with any bodily fluids.

- Time management skills.
