Sr. Software Engineer Onsite Location: Aurora, CO Required: TS/SCI No 1099, No third parties, no C2C, No Visas or Green Cards No exceptions (Sorry) W2 Hourly Contract to Hire Only $83 - $113.00 per hour based on experience and benefits package GeoLogics is seeking highly qualified, Sr. Software Engineer to develop software for cutting edge satellite ground systems with space network ground segments and users around the world. Your efforts will have a direct impact on the operation of new state of the art satellites that perform intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance for multiple customers. Qualifications Required * Preferred BA/BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with emphasis in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology and a minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience or 7 year with a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field * An active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. * Strong coding ability using Java, C/C , or similar programming languages
* Strong experience with Linux/Unix and Shell scripting
* Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
* Understanding of Software Engineering processes and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications: * Proficiency in object-oriented design
* Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
* Experience with Agile development
* Signals processing and related systems knowledge or experience
* Experience with DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development
* Experience with one or more areas of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models
