Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data collection, quality control, and construction inspection tasks. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a background in asphalt roadway and concrete field testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License with clean motor vehicle record
- High School Diploma
- Nuclear Safety Certification
- ACI Level I Concrete Field Testing
- Asphalt Roadway Technician
- Asphalt Lab Technician
Skills:
- Ability to maintain equipment and follow all safety rules and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including conflict resolution
- Ability to create and maintain accurate and confidential records
- Ability to physically lift up to 50 lbs. to shoulder height and agility on a construction site
- Strong computer literacy with math and science skills
This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and gain valuable experience in the construction industry. Geocon Engineering and Materials Testing, Inc. offers an excellent compensation and benefit program. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and includes health, dental, disability, and life insurance, bonuses, 401K and paid time off.
