Summary:

The Case Manager Supervisor is primarily responsible for the supervision of case managementstaff and may supervise other DRC staff as needed. Provides quality oversight for assignedsupervision and/or rehabilitation program functions provided to clients. Learns, uses and modelsprinciples of the "What Works" system through evidence-based practices in all interactions withclients and other staff members.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Case Manager Supervisor manages casework functions and supervises casework staff.Monitors the treatment service methodology.
• The Case Manager Supervisor develops and monitors procedures governing documentation.Participates in case staffing.
• The Case Manager Supervisor is responsible for the development and implementation ofsystems, in alignment with Company policies and procedures and principles of the "WhatWorks" system, to enhance operational efficiency and delivery of services to clients referred for supervision or treatment.
• Monitors the treatment methodology, procedures governing counselor documentation, andensure program parolees are working toward goals outlined in the treatment plan.
• The Case Manager Supervisor provides ongoing staff training within a specific officeregarding the technical and client management dimensions of Company's offendermanagement system, including effective integration of information, technology andtreatment.
• Provides in-service training for staff in compliance with regulatory requirements andcompany policies and procedures.
• The Case Manager Supervisor audits case management services provided to clients to ensure standardized delivery of such services. Provides feedback and corrective action reports to staff.
• Collects and analyzes client satisfaction ratings for all program services provided within anoffice. Generates a summary program quality report quarterly. Develops corrective actionplans when necessary.
• Assists Program/State Manager in maintaining state certifications for staff as required bylaw. Maintains compliance with all government regulatory agencies that oversee treatmentservices.
• Provides case consultation to treatment staff as needed.
• May be involved with providing case management services directly to clients usingprinciples of the "What Works" system.
• May perform all duties of Case Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from a granting institution accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) or equivalent in the Social Sciences or a related field; and a minimum two (2) years of experience supervising casework staff, or a high school diploma, or its equivalent and a minimum four (4) cumulative years of fulltime experience serving the criminal justice population.
• Knowledge of current management techniques.
• Familiar with the correctional system and current correctional policies.
• Ability to conduct individual counseling sessions and facilitate small groups, and interfacewith outside agencies.
• Ability to write clear concise reports in English using correct grammar.
• Must be able to react quickly and appropriately in an emergency situation.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not mandatory.
• Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
