Geo-Logic Associates is Hiring a Contract Specialist Near Ontario, CA

Summary

The Contract Specialist serves as a liaison to develop and maintain contracts between the corporation, its vendors, clients and employees. The Contract Specialist monitors to ensure that all parties are in compliance with the terms and conditions of contracts, and that all contracts abide by local and federal laws.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Review client provided contracts and provide feedback to management to reduce Company risk.
  • Coordinate with client on requested changes to contract.
  • Develop contract and contract related documents to support organizational goals
  • Analyze contracts to ensure they comply with state and federal laws and regulations
  • Assist project managers with understanding and complying with contractual obligations
  • Ensure that all contract records are completely and accurately maintained
  • Evaluate contracts’ performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of existing contracts and facilitate resolution of such amendments or extensions
  • Provide assistance to HR Manager by filing, scanning terminated employee files, updating training records, maintaining Affirmative Action report, following up with candidates, some onboarding and offboarding procedures.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in law, business management, accounting, or finance is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a contract administration role or a closely related field with similar duties and responsibilities is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of contract law

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Communicates effectively and professionally
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Work is normally performed within a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Frequently requires the ability to work on a computer or other close vision tasks.
  • Must be available to work in the office from 8 AM — 5 PM on weekdays.
  • Ontario, California or Albuquerque, New Mexico preferred.
