Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Associate to join our team. As a Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of products within our distribution center. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect shipments for damages or defects, and report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel
-Load, sort, and label outgoing merchandise
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items
- Prepare doors and frames for shipping
- Perform order picking using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system or other designated methods
- Load trucks using appropriate equipment or machinery
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills for accurate counting and calculations
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
-Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
