Job Description:

Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist /Neuro Diagnostics (RRT) to fill an opening located in Prosser, WA for $65.36/hr. (taxed non-taxed)

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist (RRT):

● Must have AHA BLS certification.

● Must be willing to float.

● Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

● Must have Valid WA License.

● Must Have Valid Driving License.

● Minimum 1 Years of experience in newborn and C-section experience

● Must have Covid card or Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations.

● Pass a Background check / medical test / skill test / drug test.

Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist (RRT):

● Shift: 12hr (07:00 P - 07:00A)

● 36 hours/wk.

● 13-weeks contract

● Every other weekend/holiday

Pay Rate: $2,353.00 Gross/week.

Break down Details:

Non-Taxable Weekly Stipend: $1,309.00

Taxable Weekly pay: $1,044.00

Hourly rate (Blended) : $ 65.36

OT Rate (Blended) : $ 79.86

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and pulmonary medicine, with a passion for providing exceptional respiratory care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and diagnostic tests to determine respiratory health status
- Develop and implement respiratory care plans in collaboration with physicians
- Administer medications and treatments to patients with respiratory disorders
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients requiring mechanical ventilation
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and treatment options
- Respond to emergency situations requiring respiratory support
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) credential
- State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and airway management
- Experience in critical care, including ICU and acute care settings
- Specialized knowledge in pediatrics, geriatrics, and pulmonology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
