Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established protocols and standards.

Shift: 4x12, days or nights

Contract: 13 weeks

Pay: $3057 gross per week

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations, such as spinal taps or other procedures
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers, including specialists and primary care physicians
- Ensure accurate medical documentation and coding for billing purposes
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical/surgical nursing principles and practices
- Ability to provide excellent senior care with empathy and compassion
- Proficient in conducting diagnostic evaluations and interpreting results
- Skilled in lifting, transferring, and assisting patients with mobility needs
- Familiarity with health coaching techniques to promote patient wellness
- Experience in dialyzing patients or willingness to learn
- Knowledge of assisted living regulations and protocols
- Proficient in medical documentation and coding procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in IL
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
