Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, monitor their conditions, and administer treatments as necessary. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the well-being and recovery of our patients.

Duties:
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions in the ICU
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and other diagnostic information
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Assist with procedures such as intubation, tube feeding, and IV insertion
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to hospital standards and protocols for infection control and safety measures

Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Proficiency in operating medical equipment and technology used in the ICU setting
- Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Strong critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients/families
- Experience in case management for coordinating patient care across different healthcare settings (e.g., hospital to home care)
- Familiarity with caring for patients of all ages, including infants, children, adults, and the elderly

Requirements:
- Valid RN license in OK
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred

Pay: $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 12 per week
