MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST FOR 13 WEEK CONTRACT IN MARIETTA, GA!

Travel Contract (Must Reside 50 Miles Away)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the early detection of breast cancer by performing mammographic imaging procedures with precision and care.

$2,475.00 per Week (Taxed Non-Taxed)

Days

5x8 Hr. Shifts (40 Hrs. per Week)

Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Position patients correctly and accurately to obtain high-quality images.
• Operate mammography equipment and software proficiently, including digital imaging and computer-aided detection systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret mammography images.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize exposure risks to patients and staff.
• Assist with the maintenance and quality control of mammography equipment, including routine inspections and troubleshooting.
• Provide patient education and support, including answering questions and addressing concerns related to mammography procedures.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in mammography technology and breast imaging.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification in Mammography.
• 2 yrs. of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to breast health.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of image quality and patient care.
