MS TELE LPN NEEDED

13 WEEKS - 4x12's OVERTIME

• $41 per hour
• $49 overtime rate

Experience required: 1 year
Skills: must have a Telemetry background as they will be caring for Telemetry patients and will be required to sign off on Telemetry strips for those patients.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Charting System Experience: Paragon

Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Provide wound care and dressing changes
- Perform basic life support techniques when necessary
- Assist with gastric lavage and other emergency interventions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on various health topics, including family planning and dementia care
- Ensure accurate and thorough medical documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding for accurate medical documentation
- Knowledge of gastric lavage procedures for emergency situations
- Familiarity with family planning methods and counseling techniques
- Basic life support certification for immediate response to medical emergencies
- Experience in dementia care to provide specialized support to patients with cognitive impairments
- Ability to administer medications via various routes, including oral, intravenous, and inhalation methods
- Competency in airway management techniques for maintaining proper breathing during medical interventions
- Strong attention to detail for precise medical documentation and record keeping
- Knowledge of ophthalmology procedures for eye-related assessments and treatments
