Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses. This position offers an opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes and hospitals.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and provide input for patient care plans
- Perform health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Provide care for patients requiring tube feeding and inhalation therapy
- Utilize Epic electronic health records system for documentation
Qualifications:
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Experience in infant care, including administering injections
- Familiarity with nursing home and hospital medicine practices
- Proficiency in tube feeding techniques
- Ability to provide health coaching and education to patients
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic health records systems
