Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients while delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures, including specimen collection
- Provide basic life support and emergency care when necessary
- Perform aseptic techniques, including wound care and dressing changes
- Catheterize patients as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans, accurately and timely
- Utilize electronic health record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) for documentation purposes
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
- Assist in behavioral health interventions and crisis management when required
- Participate in dialysis procedures as directed by the healthcare team
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in [state]
