2 years of Director of Nursing (DON) Long Term Care experience required.
NY Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
ASAP start for qualified Director of Nursing (DON) .
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement care policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff
- Ensure the delivery of person-centered care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
- Oversee the coordination of resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing monitoring of care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of services and interdisciplinary care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, providing feedback and guidance as needed
- Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in nursing administration and resident care
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $84.00 per hour
