Looking for a responsible, reliable self-starter that is motivated to be part of the team in a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgical Center. Some of the duties assigned are:

•Rooming patient, taking vital signs, recording vital signs into the Electronic Medical Record, removing IVs, and recognizing and advising RN when a patient needs attention.

•Discharge of patients including advising patient and driver of their restrictions, making appointments as necessary, breading down charts, and accompanying patients to their vehicles.

•Cleaning and making beds, restocking rooms and other duties as assigned.

•During procedures their duties include bringing patients to the procedure room, applying monitoring equipment to the patient, making the room ready for the procedure, assisting the physician during the procedure, taking specimens as required as required by the physician, cleaning and restocking the room after procedures.

•When assigned to the Scope Cleaning room duties include pre-cleaning scopes, sending scopes through the reprocessor, recording each scope cleaning and hanging clean scopes in the scope cabinet. This process follows SGNA standards.
