Benefits vary by full-time, part-time, and PRN status.
· Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under the direction of the physical therapist
· Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
· Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
· Assist with patient transfers and mobility as needed
· Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
· A graduate of an approved education course for physical therapy assistants.
· Licensed, if applicable, in the state in which they will be practicing.
· Must not be excluded or sanctioned from state or federal program.
· Demonstrate professional attitude and appearance.
· Proficient administrative and communication within department and facility and company.
· Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in the practice of their discipline.
· Display working knowledge of multidisciplinary practice scopes in the Outpatient, ALF, ILF or LTC setting.
· Thorough knowledge of all payer source documentation and payment requirements.
· Ability to use analytical skills to develop outcome driven solutions.
· Prior EMR/computer experience
