Geneva Hearing Services is Hiring an Audiologist Near Geneva, IL

Geneva Hearing Services is a medically based private practice that takes great pride in serving our communities and improving the quality of lives for our patients. We provide excellent service to our patients by diagnosing their hearing problems and then providing them with the best hearing solution for their individual needs.

Our audiologists work autonomously in a busy clinical setting, making personalized hearing healthcare decisions and recommendations in the best interest of our patients.

We are currently looking for an Audiologist to join our team full-time! The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to help people, the ability to go above and beyond for our patients and their families, and a commitment to being a stellar team player.

This position is an integral part of the team comprised of professionals dedicated to providing superior patient care.

Overview:

The Audiologist administers diagnostic audiometric tests, otoacoustic emissions, sends timely reports back to referring physicians, counsels and educates patients on hearing loss and treatment options, dispenses hearing aids, performs outcome measures for fitting verification and maintains patient contact.

Our Clinic and Services

  • 1 location in Geneva, Illinois
  • 3 doctors of Audiology and 3 support staff
  • Adult and pediatric hearing evaluations
  • Tinnitus treatment
  • Cochlear Implants
  • Hearing aid recommendations and fittings verified with REM
  • Hearing aid repairs, checks and cleanings
  • Aural rehabilitation
  • Cerumen management
  • Custom hearing protection

Responsibilities will include:

  • Establish rapport while conducting diagnostic audiometric testing, and provide recommendations for hearing aids for adult and pediatric patients
  • Counsel and motivate patients to seek treatment
  • Program, fit, adjust and repair multiple manufacturers hearing aids
  • Audio Processing Evaluation and treatment
  • Conduct grassroots outreach in our community to reach more potential patients

Qualifications:

  • Au.D. preferred, will consider Masters Degree in Audiology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, to include listening and problem solving
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • The ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Strong compassion, care and respect for patients
  • The ability to learn and grow
