Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a Software Engineer. This is a 5 month contract hybrid remote position located in Mountain View, CA.

Summary:

• Seeking a Software Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• A/B testing for Client models along with data analysis, thresholding, supply forecast analysis, supply demand mismatch and reporting.
• Running and monitoring A/B tests for Client models.
• Doing analysis of the tests and reporting results for A/B tests.
• Data analysis to determine thresholds, supply forecast, supply/demand mismatch.
• Communicate to the team progress, analysis details and test results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or 4 years' experience in equivalent fields.
• Comprehensive understanding of the a/b testing methodology of a system and/or a Client model.
• Experience in writing SQL, Python code.
• Familiarity with Client Colab tool or equivalent ones like Jupyter Notebook.
• Capability of working with a group of other engineers, XFN teams (PM, PgM, E&O) to make steady progress in multiple ideation environments.
• Great documentation and communication skills.
• Code comprehension.
• Ability to extract relevant information from reading code in one or more core languages and frameworks, including the ability to leverage the code as a resource to create work output for users or stakeholders.
• Data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to select or design an algorithm and appropriate data structures to solve a problem or improve a product, framework, or the scale/speed/efficiency/reliability of a system.
• Debugging and bug-fixing.
• Ability to debug, triage, and fix program code or technical issues (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational, process) by locating, mitigating the impact, and fixing errors.
• This includes the ability to conduct root-cause analysis, isolate the source of the problem, and resolve the bugs.
• Programming for SWE Knowledge of programming languages.
• This includes programming practices, major features and capabilities, and system management tools.

Pay rate range: $62.78 - $80.55 hourly.
