Job Details

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Chicago, IL. This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver a set of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program
  • Communicate the work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, ensure compliance to set standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the health of deliverables
  • Ensure that the execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost
  • Facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable on-time, accurate delivery
  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery - across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Gather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to deliver, risks/issues, and schedule
  • Guide projects through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed, required documents are completed, and required tracking systems are kept updated
  • Understand all roles and responsibilities within their team, and uses the tool sets within the software lifecycle
Requirements:
  • 10 years of End-2-End Project and Program Management experience
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Ability to lead a team and drive to results
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project financial management skills
  • Working knowledge of products, services, business flows and understanding of financial context in which technology and operating principles are used within their business area
  • Knowledge of software development and general awareness of testing
  • Basic knowledge of automation and continuous delivery practices
  • Basic awareness of architecture and design
  • Ability to comply with client standards for information security and business architectures
  • Ability to provide project status on deliverables or escalate issues to senior leaders and executives
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) proficient
  • Agile tools (Jira)
  • SQL
  • Change Managers
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical or financial field
Pay Range: $54.54-$62.54
