Genesis Restorative Medicine is Hiring a Wound Care Provider Near Pocatello, ID

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with wounds, ensuring their comfort and promoting healing. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and contribute to their overall well-being.

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with wounds, including venipuncture and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on assessment findings
- Provide wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement, and application of topical medications
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of wound healing
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in wound care management
- Proficient in performing venipuncture and other necessary procedures
- Ability to triage patients effectively in emergency situations
- Experience in acute care settings, such as ER or ICU
- Familiarity with hospice palliative medicine for end-of-life wound care
- Knowledge of infant care practices for pediatric patients with wounds
- Ability to catheterize patients as needed for wound management
- Experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities is preferred
- Understanding of behavioral health considerations in wound care

Pay: $250.00 - $500.00 per day
