Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Rotating On-Call 

Location: Texarkana, Tx 

Summary: Growing healthcare company seeks a self-motivated individual with a knowledge of various computer systems, and a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Responsible for installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of workstations, network infrastructure and peripheral devices, and all aspects of end user support. 

Tasks:

• Analyzes technical applications in order to maximize the capabilities of computer systems and networks.
• Troubleshoots issues regarding software, hardware, and operating system.
• Tests the compatibility of new programs with existing hardware and software.
• Tests computer components to maximize capability.
• Maintains asset management and inventory control processes to ensure old and new devices are appropriately documented.
• Gathers data, evaluates options and works closely with management to determine the best course of action as it relates to equipment, systems, etc.
• Installs software and executes necessary commands for testing it.
• Utilizes workstation imaging process to prepare devices for deployment.
• Establishes hardware connections and completes necessary testing.
• Trains users, answers questions, interprets instructions, and produces technical documentation, to enable end users on hardware and software functionality.
• Utilizes helpdesk ticketing software to document service requests, with troubleshooting steps and resolutions, and maintains shared knowledge base content. 
• Keeps operations and client information confidential according to company protocol.
• Attends educational workshops, seminars and conferences in order to continue his or her knowledge of information technology.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• 1 to 2 years desktop support experience preferred.
• Degree in computer Science Preferred
