POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Supervisor will supervise his or her team as assigned. He or she will assist with work schedules and coverage for each shift and will also take care of the company’s clients and their properties by conducting inspections and preparing monthly reports. The company’s goals are to maintain our clients’ properties in clean and in orderly conditions and to provide excellent customer service.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Supervisor’s responsibilities include supervisory duties such as managing team schedules and daily approval of each team member’s recorded hours, approval of vacation time, making sure that all shifts in the assigned area are covered on a daily basis, and working with the Employee Service Department regarding staffing needs and issues. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
· Managing your area Partners/Contractors and their schedules;
· Generating monthly reports on the number of staff in your team per site as well as any Partners/Contractors working on your designated sites;
· Generating monthly reports on staff training and safety issues;
· Scheduling/conducting staff training related to operation of all necessary tools and equipment and creating a safe work environment;
· Performing Quality Control inspections of the cleaning service per the Service Level Agreement as often as possible – not less than once per month in your designated area;
· Performing and documenting routine inspections and maintenance activities;
· Notifying the Assistant Operations Manager of incidents, occurring deficiencies, and needs for repairs;
· Overseeing the stocking and maintaining of supply rooms, taking inventory, and placing orders for supplies;
· Cooperating and communicating with team members and supervisors;
· Responding to and resolving any quality issues directly with clients;
· Resolving all billing issues and subcontractor pay discrepancies;
· Following and keeping updated on work hazards and safety procedures; and
· Additional supervisory duties as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Reliable attendance and punctuality.
· Transportation to and from work.
· Valid California Driver’s License if job includes travel.
· Knowledge of how to use electronic time tracking system and other applications on cell phone and computer.
· At least one year of similar supervisory experience.
· Understand, follow, and supervise staff in accordance with California law, specifically regarding time recording/meal breaks/rest breaks.
· Bilingual is a plus (English/Spansih)
