Generator Source is Hiring a Sales Manager - Power Generation Near Denver, CO

Generator Source has a current opening for highly experienced External Services Sales Manager.

Generator Source is the leading provider of both government and private sector organizations who rely on the critical standby/emergency power segments of utilities, telecom, hospital, and data center services.

We focus on new and low-hour industrial diesel and natural gas generators ranging from 50kW to 4000kW from top name brands like Cummins, Caterpillar, Kohler, Generac, MTU, and more.

Position Summary

The External Services Sales position will be responsible for managing, developing, and delivering sales to drive growth within the Denver area. As we expand, we see this role overseeing our Austin, and Jacksonville networks.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for leadership of external sales and services.
  • Address customer needs and provide solutions for challenges in customers' electrical systems.
  • Coordination and management of budgeting.
  • Engage in daily operations, including customer communication, feedback, and revenue-generating activities.
  • Weekly updates to the senior management team covering all aspects of growth and initiatives.
  • Management of the elevated work platform, supply chain including forward ordering and scheduling.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Business, Engineering, or Finance preferred.
  • 10 years accomplished experience in Industrial sector sales management and business development.
  • Excellent strategy development, analytics, and financial acumen.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influence skills.
  • Exceptional customer centricity and leadership ability to execute and deliver results.
  • Experience with team management and distribution development.
  • Demonstrated success with meeting sales targets and goals.
  • Knowledge of requirements to meet local legislation, marketing, sales, and implementation of strategy.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and NetSuite
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining sense of urgency
  • Excellent people and customer service skills with a positive attitude
  • Effective project management and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain successful business partnerships

COMPENSATION: Highly Competitive - Employee Medical covered at 100%.

This position is full-time located in the Brighton, Colorado area
