Generations Home Care Bremerton is Hiring a Caregiver Near Poulsbo, WA

Job Summary :

Generations Home Care Bremerton is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to provide compassionate and quality care for patients in their own homes.

Candidates will be providing one-on-one care to adults in the Kitsap County area (Bremerton, Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bainbridge Island, Port Orchard, and Gig Harbor).

We accept CNA's (Certified Nursing Assistant), HCA (Home Care Aide), and students.

We provide training and orientation to all of our staff.

Compensation and Benefits :

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $19-37 / hour, paid bi-monthly.

The pay is determined on how long the shift is and if the employee is certified. We also offer medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Our medical plan is considered a "Minimum Essential Compliance" plan and allows our staff to maintain their state provided medical insurance.

Compensation increases by $1 / hour per year of service with the agency.

Most of our staff earn an extra $100-$150 / month based on bonuses.

Additionally, we offer weekly pay access through an app called TapCheck.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as grooming, bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Monitor clients’ medication intake and report any irregularities.
  • Provide emotional support to clients and their families.
  • Assist with mobility, transportation, and errands.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Assist with medical appointments and other activities that require accompaniment.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and medical protocols.

Requirements :

  • Manage app based technology for care plan and clocking in / out procedure.
  • Ability to follow care plan instructions and adhere to medical protocols.
  • Relationship development with clients and families.
  • CNA / HCA certification or ability to earn one within 200 days of hire.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds.
  • Preferred CPR / First Aid certification.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
