Practice Manager
(Full-time, 40 hours/week)
Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is a regional community health center covering a thirty-seven town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich and Putnam. Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental and behavioral health care, as well as care coordination and community outreach. In addition to our main facilities, we offer mobile programs and School Based Health Centers.
LOCATION: Danielson, CT
REQUIREMENTS: Must work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Must be detail oriented and able to carry out duties with minimal supervision. Must possess strong communications and organizational skills. Computer proficiency necessary, experience with an electronic health record desired. Experience with oversight of patient flow, staff training and supervision, and customer service is crucial. Excellent problem-solving skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to organize resources and establish priorities; Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies and procedures. Capable of supervising staff on site, providing information as requested, implementing changes as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to maintain patient and staff confidentiality. Ability to apply computer skills required in automated word processing, spreadsheet, and/or database applications. Program planning and implementation skills; ability to gather and analyze data, compile information and prepare reports; Ability to transport oneself within and outside of service area to conduct business and attend meetings/trainings as required. Ability to input, access, and retrieve information from a computer system. Ability to lift and carry weights of up to 20 pounds.
Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of three (3) years’ experience in medical office management related field; or equivalent combination of education and related management experience. Knowledge of group medical office practice management preferred, as well as previous experience and license/certification as Medical Assistant or LPN preferred. Bilingual preferred.

Salary Scale: $64,063 (compensatory with experience)
