General Shale, Inc., the nation's leading manufacturer of brick, masonry siding, and outdoor hardscape products, is seeking a Structural Engineer at our corporate office in Johnson City, TN.
This position will be based at our corporate office in Johnson City, TN.
Responsibilities will include: providing technical expertise to architects, engineers, and contractor customers as well as General Shale sales and production personnel; delivery of educational and training programs; conducting job site inspections and problem analysis; representing General Shale and the brick industry at various code and industry meetings; and preparing various technical documents.
The successful candidate will report to General Shale’s Manager of Engineering Services and have the potential to eventually assume that role.
