Certified Surgical Technologist

GHR Healthcare is seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to assist a premier Hospital system in Lancaster PA for their Ortho surgeries.

This is a full-time contract with the option to extend.

Pay $55/hour!

Schedule:

• 10 hour days 7A-5:30P
• 13-week contract with opportunity to extend

Responsibilities:

• Maintain proper sterile technique during the procedure
• Functioning as a scrub person, circulation assistant and member of the surgical team
• Setting patients up for surgery
• Assemble, maintain, and track surgical instruments and equipment
• Inspect all packaged items to ensure integrity
• Conduct pre-op, intra-op, and post-op surgical counts according to AORN standards
• Maintain the integrity of the surgical field during procedures
• Scrubs for surgical procedures as assigned, maintaining proficiency in all surgical specialties
• Utilizes principles of aseptic technique in performing responsibilities in the operating room

Gross Travel Pay: $2,242 per week

• CST certification preferred
