Overview

Supports general business operations by providing various transportation and related support activities as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines in the Transportation Services and Administration Function

Responsibilities

• Operates a large or heavy truck that transports cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule.
• Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
• Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
• Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.

Qualifications

Required Education : Vocational / Technical Training Degree or Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & / or Experience

Preferred Education : Associate's Degree

Additional Certifications : Requires Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class A. w / HAZMAT Endorsement

Years and Area of Experience (required for the role) : 5-7 years prior experience in a similar position.
