Overview

Supports general business operations by providing various transportation and related support activities as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines in the Transportation Services and Administration Function.

Major Position Responsibilities

• Utilizes company vehicle to transport organizational executives and or other senior management personnel.
• Maintains a clean appearance inside and outside of the vehicle.
• Follows through with and tracks the maintenance schedule.
• Plans itineraries for extended or overnight trips.
• Planning & organizing events
• May make minor repairs, such as replacing a flat tire.

May also have responsibility for Special Event Planning tasks such as:

• Coordinating facilities, lodging, food and beverage, travel, entertainment and other related issues for internal meetings, customer conferences, and special events.
• Responsible for establishing and adhering to individual and overall event budgets.
• Often negotiates with vendors and establishes relationships with repeat and/or favored vendors.
• Reviews contracts for facilities, transportation, entertainment, events and related activities.
• Coordinates arrangements with vendors and site logistics as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experiece
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Applicable CDL Certification
• 5-7 years experience relevant to the position's functional area required
• Vision. Dexterity. Have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Ability to follow directions.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
• Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate.
• May be requested to work a different shift.
