Overview
GD-OTS is looking for an experienced Engineer Technician III - Manufacturing (1st Shift) to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow.
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 50 years of expertise, General Dynamics designs, develops, manufactures and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including; rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.
Major Position Responsibilities
- Working with Program Engineering Teams to develop solutions for the production floor
- Implementing shop floor improvements
- Trouble Shooting
- Problem Solving
- Create CNC machining programs
Basic Qualifications
- Associate Degree from a technical Institute with 3-5 years experience as an Engineering Technician or High School diploma or equivalent and 5-8 years experience in composite or engineering support.
- Ability to work with 3D models and 2D drawings.
- Good Communication skills and ability to work with production operators, engineers and managers are necessary attributes.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, CAD, CNC programing), and a desire to learn, work hard, contribute to the success of the company.
