Job Description GDIT is seeking a Program Expert to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA) Program. NSWCDD DNA utilizes Research & Development and Engineering to develop innovative, affordable, and effective threat-driven integrated training systems, cyber warfare, fleet readiness and sustainment solutions for the Naval Warfighter. NSWCDD DNA has a requirement to design, develop, produce, deploy and test prototypes in support of its stated mission. • Builds and codes applications and/or models using various computer programming languages
• Program Expert responsibilities include providing guidance and direction to employees about various programs within the organization. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
• Required Experience: 15 years of full time experience in network computer equipment and routine computer programming.
• Required Technical Skills: * Proven work experience as a Program Expert or similar role
* Strong knowledge of budgeting, researching, and report writing
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Relevant training and/or certifications as a Program Specialist • Security Clearance Level: Secret
• Required Skills and Abilities: * Plan and attend collaboration meetings to ensure projects are on schedule
* Create monthly and/or quarterly budgets for all company programs
* Provide consultation services regarding compliance with tax laws, policies, and company procedures
* Report feedback on the success and/or failure of certain projects and activities • Location: Chesapeake, VA
