General Atomics Systems Integration is Hiring an Operations Leader Near Kaneohe, HI

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a provider of military and commercial engineering services. GA-SI is a leading-edge expert in systems integration technologies, reliability improvements, and controls system design.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Leader to support our Aero Services Division at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii (Oahu).
This position, following established policies and practices, provides leadership and direction to GA&A employees in logistics support and services, engineering support and services, non-standard maintenance, and engineering investigations. Provides oversight of Depot level activities performed on-site. May coordinate and conduct technical product briefings with customers and company representatives if requested. Acts as local on-site company representative with customers. Ensures technical quality is maintained.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides real-time logistics and engineering feedback to the Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) regarding status of MQ-9A UAS issues that impact safety, component reliability, maintainability, and economy of operation, the correction of design or manufacturing processes, and Fleet Readiness.
  • Shall be the company’s primary on-site Point of Contact and liaison MQ-9A UAS requirements between the customer and Program Office.
  • May participate in the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of human resources to ensure the availability of the required management, professional, and technical talent.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Expected to maintain a productive and safe working environment in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
  • Additional Functions and other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a technical field as well as six or more years progressively complex technical experience. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Must demonstrate an understanding of mission deployment including flight mission planning, briefs and debriefs, risk management and U.S. deployment briefs training; leadership skills including organizing, scheduling and coordinating workloads to meet established deadline or milestones; and the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment.
Must also possess:
  • The ability to resolve non-routine management and technical problems.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present findings.
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees and management.
  • The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information; and, good computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
Salary:$66,940 - $116,965
