Vending Management Sales Specialist

Job Description:

Position Description:

We’re looking for an outgoing, energetic, and high performing Vending Management Sales Specialist who will be responsible for developing new and maintaining strong relationships with our customers in the industrial industry. This position is accountable for helping customers find more efficient ways for inventory control, utilizing the Supply Pro VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) hardware and software systems.


Your Day-to-Day:

  • Independently research, identify, and persistently generate weekly new opportunities

  • Work with and assist Sales Account Managers with VMI business opportunities

  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales funnel

  • Strategically attack a sales funnel to close new VMI business

  • Maintain a high volume of activity including outbound calls and emails

  • Document sales activity in our CRM system as required (daily, weekly, monthly)

  • Identify customer process improvements and recommend appropriate vending solutions

  • Assist the vending technician with troubleshooting equipment problems and issues

  • Project Management and Coordination for VMI System Installations

  • Create the customer P&L, inventory list, and traveler documents

  • Support creating and presenting high-level sales proposals

  • Generate, develop, and maintain customer relationships

  • Be accountable to dashboard results as directed by Industrial Sales Manager (i.e., demos, proposals)

  • Thrive on change while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable

  • Drive to individually compete (and win!) while still being a fantastic team player

  • Other duties, as assigned


What You Bring to the Team:

  • 2 years of inside sales or relevant experience selling; preferred

  • Strong track record of achievement; preferably selling processes and solutions

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Relationship and solution selling skills

  • Eager learner

  • Coachability

  • Ability to work independently or with a team

  • Possesses strong computer skills

  • Knack for working under pressure

  • Excellent time management skills/organizational skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Have a clean MVR

  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for a long period of time

  • Frequent repetitive motions related to data entry

  • Frequent lifting of 10-20 lbs. and may at time lift up to 50 lbs.
